आकाशे प्रक्षिपेद्वापि स्थितो वा दक्षिणामुखः । पितॄणां स्थानमाकाशं दक्षिणा चैव दिक्तथा
ākāśe prakṣipedvāpi sthito vā dakṣiṇāmukhaḥ | pitṝṇāṃ sthānamākāśaṃ dakṣiṇā caiva diktathā
આકાશમાં પણ અર્પણ ફેંકીને આપી શકાય, અથવા દક્ષિણમુખે ઊભા રહીને પણ. પિતૃઓનું સ્થાન આકાશ છે અને દક્ષિણ દિશા પણ તેમની જ દિશા કહેવાય છે.
