kadācitsamanuprāpte durbhikṣe kālaparyayāt | ṛṣayaśca mahādevi kṣudhākrāntā vicetasaḥ

હે મહાદેવી! કોઈ એક સમયે કાળક્રમે દુષ્કાળ પડ્યો, ત્યારે ઋષિઓ ભૂખથી વ્યાકુળ અને વિહ્વળ થઈ ગયા.
