ग्रासमात्रसमानाभिर्गुटिकाभिरथाष्टभिः । कन्दमूलफलोत्थाभिर्गुटिकास्ते द्विजातयः

grāsamātrasamānābhirguṭikābhirathāṣṭabhiḥ | kandamūlaphalotthābhirguṭikāste dvijātayaḥ

કંદ-મૂળ-ફળમાંથી બનેલી, એક ગ્રાસ જેટલી, એવી આઠ ગોળીઓ જે દ્વિજ ભોજન કરે છે—તેઓ ‘ગુટિકા’ સાધક કહેવાય છે।
