śṛṇu rājanyathāvṛttamitihāsa purātanam | ṛṣibhirbahudhā gītamarbude parvatottame

Translation

હે રાજન! જેમ બન્યું તેમ જ આ પ્રાચીન ઇતિહાસ સાંભળો; પર્વતોમાં શ્રેષ્ઠ અર્બુદ પર ઋષિઓએ તેને અનેક રીતે ગાયું છે.
