ब्राह्मणा ऊचुः । पितृमेधेन राजेंद्र कृतेन विधिपूर्वकम् । निरयस्था दिवं यांति यद्यपि स्युः सुपापिनः
brāhmaṇā ūcuḥ | pitṛmedhena rājeṃdra kṛtena vidhipūrvakam | nirayasthā divaṃ yāṃti yadyapi syuḥ supāpinaḥ
બ્રાહ્મણોએ કહ્યું—હે રાજેન્દ્ર! વિધિપૂર્વક કરાયેલા પિતૃમેધના પ્રભાવથી નરકસ્થ પિતૃઓ પણ સ્વર્ગે જાય છે, ભલે તેઓ મહાપાપી હોય।
