त्यक्तस्तु वह्निना मर्त्यस्ततो नाशं गता नराः । शेषनाशाद्वयं सर्वे विनंक्ष्यामो न संशयः
tyaktastu vahninā martyastato nāśaṃ gatā narāḥ | śeṣanāśādvayaṃ sarve vinaṃkṣyāmo na saṃśayaḥ
અગ્નિએ મર્ત્યોને ત્યજી દીધા તેથી મનુષ્યો વિનાશને પામ્યા. શેષ પણ નષ્ટ થાય તો અમે પણ—અમે સર્વે—નિશ્ચિત વિનષ્ટ થઈ જઈશું; તેમાં સંશય નથી.
