Devas (collective praise to the Devī)
Tirtha: Arbuda-kṣetra (ritual-complete tīrtha)
Type: kshetra
Scene: Devī appears as a subtle presence behind a fire-altar where svāhā is uttered, and beside a riverbank where svadhā is offered to ancestors; simultaneously she shines as intellect and forbearance within the devotee.
The Goddess is praised as both transcendent (in her own nature) and immanent as the powers that sustain dharma—intellect, endurance, patience, and forgiveness—even within saṃsāra.
The verse functions as Devī-stuti within the Arbuda (Mount Abu) setting of the Prabhāsa Khaṇḍa, framing the sacred landscape through the Goddess’s all-pervasion rather than naming a single tīrtha in this line.
It alludes to yajña and pitṛ offerings through the ritual utterances Svāhā and Svadhā, indicating the Goddess as the inner power of sacrificial rites.
