वसिष्ठ उवाच । अथाश्वस्तमुवाचेदमहमग्निर्द्विजोत्तम । यस्त्वयाऽराधितः पूर्वमुपाध्यायनिदेशतः
vasiṣṭha uvāca | athāśvastamuvācedamahamagnirdvijottama | yastvayā'rādhitaḥ pūrvamupādhyāyanideśataḥ
વસિષ્ઠ બોલ્યા—પછી આશ્વસ્ત થયેલા તે દ્વિજોત્તમને તેણે કહ્યું—“હે દ્વિજશ્રેષ્ઠ, હું અગ્નિ છું; જેને તું પૂર્વે ઉપાધ્યાયના આદેશથી આરાધ્યો હતો.”
