इन्द्र उवाच । भगवन्पुण्यमाहात्म्यं श्रोतुमिच्छामि सांप्रतम् । प्रमाणं चैव सर्वेषां कृतादीनां पृथग्विधम्
indra uvāca | bhagavanpuṇyamāhātmyaṃ śrotumicchāmi sāṃpratam | pramāṇaṃ caiva sarveṣāṃ kṛtādīnāṃ pṛthagvidham
ઇન્દ્રએ કહ્યું—હે ભગવન! હું અત્યારે પુણ્યનું માહાત્મ્ય સાંભળવા ઇચ્છું છું, તેમજ કૃત વગેરે સર્વ યુગોના અલગ અલગ પ્રમાણ પણ જાણવા ઇચ્છું છું.
