शक्र उवाच । वृत्रेण निर्जिताः सर्वे वयं ब्राह्मणसत्तम । स वध्यो नहि शस्त्राणां सर्वेषां वरपुष्टितः
śakra uvāca | vṛtreṇa nirjitāḥ sarve vayaṃ brāhmaṇasattama | sa vadhyo nahi śastrāṇāṃ sarveṣāṃ varapuṣṭitaḥ
શક્ર બોલ્યા—હે બ્રાહ્મણશ્રેષ્ઠ, અમે સર્વે વૃત્ર દ્વારા પરાજિત થયા છીએ. તે વરદાનોથી બળવાન છે; કોઈપણ શસ્ત્રથી તેનો વધ થતો નથી।
