यावन्न हरिणाक्षीणामपांगविवरेक्षिताः । मया व्यवसितं चित्ते तदानीं तां जिहीर्षुणा

Transliteration

yāvanna hariṇākṣīṇāmapāṃgavivarekṣitāḥ | mayā vyavasitaṃ citte tadānīṃ tāṃ jihīrṣuṇā

Translation

જ્યાં સુધી મૃગનયનીઓની અપાંગ-કટાક્ષભરી નજરે મને ભેદ્યો ન હતો, ત્યાં સુધી મારા ચિત્તનો નિશ્ચય દૃઢ હતો; પરંતુ તેને હરી લેવા ઇચ્છા ઊઠતાં જ તે ડગમગી ગયો.
