वाक्यज्ञेयेषु भिन्नेषु यत्राभेदः प्रदृश्यते । तत्रातिशयहेतुत्वं तत्सौक्ष्म्यमिति निर्दिशेत्
vākyajñeyeṣu bhinneṣu yatrābhedaḥ pradṛśyate | tatrātiśayahetutvaṃ tatsaukṣmyamiti nirdiśet
વાક્યથી જાણવાનાં વિષયો ભિન્ન હોવા છતાં જ્યાં આંતરિક અભેદ દેખાય—ઉત્કર્ષકારક સંબંધને પ્રકાશિત કરવાની જે શક્તિ છે, તેને ‘સૌક્ષ્મ્ય’ કહેવામાં આવે છે।
