Transliteration

vipadyapi hi te dhanyā na ye dainyapraṇoditāḥ | dhanairmalinacittānāmālabhaṃteṃgaṇaṃ kvacit

Translation

વિપત્તિમાં પણ જે દૈન્યથી પ્રેરિત થતા નથી તેઓ ધન્ય છે. પરંતુ ધનથી મલિન ચિત્તવાળા લોકો ક્યારેક માત્ર ધનના બળે જ આંગણું—અર્થાત્ સ્થાન-પ્રતિષ્ઠા—મેળવે છે।
