शिवसंस्कार-दीक्षानिरूपणम् (Śivasaṃskāra and the Typology of Dīkṣā)

ब्राह्मणं क्षत्रियं वैश्यं द्विवर्षं च त्रिवर्षकम् । प्राणद्रव्यप्रदानाद्यैरादेशैश्च समासमैः

Transliteration

brāhmaṇaṃ kṣatriyaṃ vaiśyaṃ dvivarṣaṃ ca trivarṣakam | prāṇadravyapradānādyairādeśaiśca samāsamaiḥ

Translation

ગુરુએ બ્રાહ્મણ, ક્ષત્રિય, વૈશ્ય—અને બે વર્ષ પૂર્ણ કરનાર તથા ત્રણ વર્ષ પૂર્ણ કરનારને પણ—પ્રાણપોષક દ્રવ્યદાન વગેરે જેવા સંક્ષિપ્ત આદેશોથી બોલાવવા જોઈએ।
