मङ्गलाचरणम्, तीर्थ-परिसरः, सूतागमनम् — Invocation, Sacred Setting, and the Arrival of Sūta
श्लक्ष्णां च न्यायसंयुक्तां प्रत्युवाच शुभां गिरम् । सूत उवाच । पूजितो ऽनुगृहीतश्च भवद्भिरिति चोदितः
ślakṣṇāṃ ca nyāyasaṃyuktāṃ pratyuvāca śubhāṃ giram | sūta uvāca | pūjito 'nugṛhītaśca bhavadbhiriti coditaḥ
સૂત બોલ્યા—“તમે અમારા દ્વારા પૂજિત અને અનુગ્રહિત થયા છો” એવા વચનોથી પ્રેરિત થઈ, તેણે મૃદુ, શુભ અને ન્યાયસંયુક્ત વાણીથી ઉત્તર આપ્યો।

It highlights the Shaiva virtue of śubha-vāk (auspicious, truthful speech): a devotee responds to honour with humility and reasoned propriety, reflecting inner purification that supports bhakti and the path toward Shiva’s grace.
Linga-worship emphasizes outer ritual supported by inner discipline; this verse points to the inner discipline of dharmic speech and gratitude, which makes devotion to Saguna Shiva mature and worthy of anugraha (divine favour).
Practice mindful satya and madhura-vāk while doing japa of the Panchakshara (Om Namaḥ Śivāya), offering every word as a mental upacāra to Shiva—especially during daily puja and Mahashivratri observances.
