तमस्य मर्जयामसि मदो य इन्द्रपातमः । यं गाव आसभिर्दधुः पुरा नूनं च सूरयः ॥
Transliteration
tám asya marjayāmasi mádo yá índrapātamaḥ | yáṃ gā́va āsábhir dadhúḥ purā́ nū́naṃ ca sūríyaḥ ||
Translation
તેને અમે માર્જયામસિ—શુદ્ધ કરીએ છીએ—આ મદ (રસોત્કટ આનંદ) જે ઇન્દ્રપાતમઃ, ઇન્દ્ર માટે સર્વોત્તમ પેય છે; જેને ગાવો (કિરણો/ગાયો) પોતાના આસભિઃ—મુખોમાં—પૂર્વે પણ અને અત્યારે પણ, હે સૂરયઃ (પ્રકાશમાન ઋષિઓ), ધારણ કરે છે.
