Sukta 9.86
अञ्जते व्यञ्जते समञ्जते क्रतुं रिहन्ति मधुनाभ्यञ्जते । सिन्धोरुच्छ्वासे पतयन्तमुक्षणं हिरण्यपावाः पशुमासु गृभ्णते ॥
añjáte vyàñjate sám añjate krátum rihanti mádhunā́bhyàñjate | síndhor ucchvā́se patáyantam ukṣáṇaṃ hiraṇyapāvā́ḥ paśúm ā́su gṛbhṇate ||
તેઓ અભિષેક કરે છે, અભિષેકને વિસ્તારે છે, સહઅભિષેક કરે છે; મધથી તેની ક્રતુ (ઇચ્છા-શક્તિ)ને ચાટે છે અને મીઠાસથી તેને સ્નાન કરાવે છે. સિંધુના ઉચ્છ્વાસમાં ઉડતો ઉક્ષન્ (વૃષભ) પકડાય છે—હિરણ્યપાવાઃ (સુવર્ણ-શોધકો) દ્વારા—જીવશક્તિરૂપ પશુને હાથમાં ગ્રહણ કર્યાની જેમ.
