यस्ते साधिष्ठोऽवसे ते स्याम भरेषु ते । वयं होत्राभिरुत देवहूतिभिः ससवांसो मनामहे ॥
Transliteration
yás te sādhiṣṭhó’vase té syāma bháreṣu te | vayáṃ hotrā́bhir utá devá-hūtibhiḥ sasa-vā́ṃso manāmahe ||
Translation
હે (ઇન્દ્ર), તારી જે સર્વોત્કૃષ્ટ સહાય છે, તે સહાય માટે અમે તારા જ બનીએ; તું જે યુદ્ધોમાં પ્રવર્તે છે તેમાં અમે તારા સાથે રહીએ. અમે સ્તુતિ-હોત્રોથી અને દેવોને બોલાવતી દેવહૂતિઓથી આગળ ધસી, મનમાં તને જ સ્વીકારી તારી તરફ અભિલાષા રાખીએ છીએ.
