त्वे असुर्यं वसवो न्यृण्वन्क्रतुं हि ते मित्रमहो जुषन्त । त्वं दस्यूँरोकसो अग्न आज उरु ज्योतिर्जनयन्नार्याय ॥

Transliteration

tve asuryám vasavo ní ṛṇvan krátuṃ hí te mitra-maho juṣánta | tváṃ dasyū́ṃr ókaso agna ā́ja urú jyótiḥ janáyan ā́ryāya ||

Translation

તારામાં વસુઓ અસુર્ય (સર્વાધિપત્ય) શક્તિ સ્થાપે છે; કારણ કે તારો ક્રતુ—કર્મશક્તિ—મિત્રમહો (મહામિત્ર) શક્તિઓને પ્રિય લાગે છે. હે અજ (વેગવાન) અગ્નિ, તું દસ્યુઓને તેમના આસનોમાંથી હાંકી કાઢે છે, અને આર્ય માટે વિશાળ જ્યોતિને જન્મ આપે છે—ઉર્ધ્વ ધર્મ પસંદ કરનારી આત્મા માટે.
