Sukta 6.29
एवेदिन्द्रः सुहव ऋष्वो अस्तूती अनूती हिरिशिप्रः सत्वा । एवा हि जातो असमात्योजाः पुरू च वृत्रा हनति नि दस्यून् ॥
evéd índraḥ suháva ṛ́ṣvo astū́tī anū́tī hiriśipráḥ sátvā | evā́ hí jā́to asamāti-ojā́ḥ purū́ ca vṛtrā́ hanati ní dasyū́n ||
એવાં જ ઇન્દ્ર—સુહવ (સહેલાઈથી આહ્વાનનીય), ઊંચા—અમારી સહાય અને પુનઃપુનઃ સહાય બને; હરિશિપ્ર (તામ્ર દાઢીવાળા), સત્વા (બળવાન સત્તાવાન). કેમ કે એવો જ, જન્મથી અજેય તેજોબળ ધરાવતો, તે અનેક વૃત્રોને હણે છે અને દસ્યુઓને નીચે દબાવે છે.
