लङ्कादाह-प्रचोदनं तथा वानर-राक्षस-समरारम्भः

उल्काहस्सैर्हरिगणैस्सर्वतस्समभिद्रुताः ।।।।आरक्षस्थाविरूपाक्षास्सहसाविप्रदद्रुवुः ।

હાથમાં જ્વલંત ઉલ્કાઓ ધરાવતી વાનર સેના ચારે તરફથી ધસી આવી; અને દ્વાર પર રક્ષામાં ઊભેલા વિકૃત નેત્રવાળા રાક્ષસો સહસા ભયથી ભાગી ગયા.
