कुम्भकर्णवधः
The Slaying of Kumbhakarna
ततोहरीणांतदनीकमुग्रंदुद्रावशूलंनिशितंप्रगृह्य ।तस्थौ स तस्यापततःपुरस्तान्महीधराग्रंहनुमान् प्रगृह्य ।।।।
tato harīṇāṃ tad anīkam ugraṃ dudrāva śūlaṃ niśitaṃ pragṛhya |
tasthau sa tasyāpatataḥ purastān mahīdharāgraṃ hanumān pragṛhya ||
પછી તે તીક્ષ્ણ ધારવાળું શૂલ હાથમાં લઈ વાનરોની તે ભયંકર સેનાપર ઉગ્રતાથી દોડી પડ્યો; પરંતુ હનુમાન પર્વતશિખર ઉપાડી, આક્રમણકર્તા સામે આવતો હતો ત્યારે તેને પોતાના આગળ રાખી અડગ ઊભો રહ્યો।
Thereafter Kumbhakarna holding a sharp pike rushed towards Hanuman who uprooted a mountain peak and obstructed him placing it before him.
