यथाऽसौसम्प्रहृष्टानांवानराणांसमुत्थितः ।बहूनांसुमहान्नादोमेघनामिवगर्जिताम् ।।6.51.3।।व्यक्तंसुमहतीप्रीतिरेतेषांनात्रसंशयः ।तथाहिविपुलैर्नादैश्चुक्षुभेवरुणालयः ।।6.51.4।।
yathā 'sau samprahṛṣṭānāṃ vānarāṇāṃ samutthitaḥ |
bahūnāṃ sumahān nādo meghānām iva garjitām ||6.51.3||
vyaktaṃ sumahatī prītir eteṣāṃ nātra saṃśayaḥ |
tathā hi vipulair nādaiś cukṣubhe varuṇālayaḥ ||6.51.4||
જેમ આનંદથી પરિપૂર્ણ અનેક વાનરોમાંથી ઉદ્ભવેલો અતિમહાન નાદ મેઘોના ગર્જન સમો ઊઠ્યો, તેમ નિશ્ચિત જ એમની પ્રીતિ અતિ વિશાળ હતી—એમાં સંશય નથી. કારણ કે તેમના વિશાળ નાદોથી વરુણાલય સમુદ્ર પણ ઉથલપાથલ થયો.
