एषचैषामधिपतिर्मध्येतिष्ठतिवीर्यवान् ।।।।जयार्थीनित्यमादित्यमुपतिष्ठतिबुद्धिमान् ।नाम्नापृथिव्यांविख्यातोराजन् शतबलीतियः ।।।।एषैवाशंसतेलङ्कांस्वेनानीकेनमर्दितुम् ।
eṣa caiṣām adhipatir madhye tiṣṭhati vīryavān |
jayārthī nityam ādityam upatiṣṭhati buddhimān ||6.27.43||
nāmnā pṛthivyāṃ vikhyāto rājan śatabalīti yaḥ |
eṣa evāśaṃsate laṅkāṃ svenānīkena marditum ||6.27.44||
એ એમનો પરાક્રમી અધિપતિ મધ્યમાં ઊભો છે. વિજયાર્થી એ બુદ્ધિમાન વીર સદા આદિત્યદેવની ઉપાસના કરે છે. હે રાજન, પૃથ્વી પર ‘શતબલી’ નામે વિખ્યાત એ જ પોતાના સૈન્ય સાથે લંકાને મર્દિત કરવાની પ્રતિજ્ઞા કરે છે.
