बालकाण्डे एकविंशः सर्गः

Daśaratha’s Promise, Vasiṣṭha’s Counsel, and Viśvāmitra’s Weapon-Lore

तेषां निग्रहणे शक्तस्स्वयं च कुशिकात्मज:।तव पुत्रहितार्थाय त्वामुपेत्याभियाचते।।।।

teṣāṃ nigrahaṇe śaktaḥ svayaṃ ca kuśikātmajaḥ |

tava putra-hitārthāya tvām upetyābhiyācate ||

કુશિકપુત્ર વિશ્વામિત્ર સ્વયં તેમને દમન કરવા સમર્થ છે; છતાં તારા પુત્રના હિત અને કલ્યાણ માટે તે તારી પાસે આવી વિનંતી કરે છે.
