भरद्वाजाश्रमात् चित्रकूटमार्गनिर्देशः

सा सम्प्रहृष्टद्विपवाजियोधा वित्रासयन्ती मृगपक्षिसङ्घान्। महद्वनं तत्प्रतिगाहमाना रराज सेना भरतस्य तत्र।।2.92.39।।
sā samprahṛṣṭa-dvipa-vāji-yodhā vitrāsayantī mṛga-pakṣi-saṅghān | mahad vanaṃ tat pratigāhamānā rarāja senā bharatasya tatra || 2.92.39 ||
ત્યાં ભરતની સેના—હર્ષિત ગજ, અશ્વ અને પરાક્રમી યોધાઓથી યુક્ત—મહાન વનમાં પ્રવેશી; મૃગો અને પક્ષીઓના સમૂહોને ભયભીત કરતી, પોતાની સમૂહ-શોભાથી તેજસ્વી બની રળી ઊઠી.
