Transliteration

rātriṃ kathañcidevemāṃ saumitre vartayāmahe | apāvartāmahe bhūmāv āstīrya svayamārjitaiḥ ||

Translation

હે સૌમિત્રે (લક્ષ્મણ), આ રાત તો કોઈ રીતે પસાર કરવી પડશે; આપણે ધરતી પર જ સૂઈશું, પોતે જ એકત્ર કરેલું પાથરીને.
