नैवाहमनुशोचामि लक्ष्मणो न च मैथिली।अयोध्यायाश्च्युताश्चेति वने वत्स्यामहेति च।।2.52.28।।

Transliteration

naivāham anuśocāmi lakṣmaṇo na ca maithilī | ayodhyāyāś cyutāś ceti vane vatsyāmaheti ca || 2.52.28 ||

Translation

અયોધ્યાથી વિયોગ થયો છે એ કારણે કે વનમાં વસવું પડશે એ વિચારથી—હું શોક કરતો નથી; ન લક્ષ્મણ, ન મૈથિલી પણ.
