गजग्रीष्टकृतिर्व्यैका दलिता चेष्टभाजिता । एकोऽस्य वर्गो दलितः सैको राशिः परो मतः ॥ ३२ ॥

Transliteration

gajagrīṣṭakṛtirvyaikā dalitā ceṣṭabhājitā | eko'sya vargo dalitaḥ saiko rāśiḥ paro mataḥ || 32 ||

Translation

એક જ એકકને આધાર માની, તેને ઘટાડીને અને ક્રિયા-નિયમ મુજબ ભાગ આપતાં, તે ઘટાડેલા માનનો વર્ગ પ્રાપ્ત થાય છે. એ જ એકકને પછી સિદ્ધ રાશિ માનવામાં આવે છે—મુનિઓનું એવું મત છે।
