Adhyaya 84 — The Gods’ Hymn after the Slaying of Mahishasura and the Goddess’ Boon
इत्येतत्कथितं भूप सम्भूता सा यथा पुरा ।
देवी देवशरीरेभ्यो जगत्त्रय हितैषिणी ॥
ity etat kathitaṃ bhūpa sambhūtā sā yathā purā | devī devaśarīrebhyo jagattrayahitaiṣiṇī ||
હે રાજન્, આ રીતે તને જણાવાયું કે તે દેવી પૂર્વવત્ પ્રગટ થઈ—દેવતાઓના શરીરોમાંથી ઉત્પન્ન થઈ, ત્રિલોકના કલ્યાણની ઇચ્છાથી પ્રાદુર્ભવેલી।
