Adhyaya 15 — Karmic Retribution: Rebirths After Naraka and the King’s Compassion in Hell
प्राप्नोति षण्डतां मूढो यातनाभ्यः परिच्युतः । यः करोति नरो होममसमिद्धे विभावसौ ॥
prāpnoti ṣaṇḍhatāṃ mūḍho yātanābhyaḥ paricyutaḥ / yaḥ karoti naro homam asamiddhe vibhāvasau
અગ્નિ (વિભાવસુ) યોગ્ય રીતે પ્રજ્વલિત ન હોવા છતાં મોહવશ જે મનુષ્ય હોમ કરે છે, તે દંડ-યાતનાથી ચ્યૂત થઈ ષંડતા (નપુંસકતા) પ્રાપ્ત કરે છે.
