Adhyaya 15 — Karmic Retribution: Rebirths After Naraka and the King’s Compassion in Hell
गर्दभो जायते जन्तुः पित्रोश्चाप्यवमानकः ।
मातापितरावाक्रुश्य शारिका सम्प्रजायते ॥
gardabho jāyate jantuḥ pitroś cāpy avamānakaḥ /
mātāpitarāv ākruśya śārikā samprajāyate
જે પ્રાણી પિતૃઓનું અપમાન કરે છે, તે ગધેડા રૂપે જન્મે છે. અને જે માતા-પિતાની નિંદા કરે છે, તે શારિકા (મૈના) પક્ષી રૂપે જન્મ પામે છે।
