रूपवान् सुभगो दान्त: सत्यवादी जितेन्द्रिय: । दानमानगृहीतश्न कार्यो भवति वाचक:
rūpavān subhago dāntaḥ satyavādī jitendriyaḥ | dānamānagṛhītaś ca kāryo bhavati vācakaḥ ||
જે રૂપવાન, સुभગ, દાંત (સંયમી), સત્યવાદી અને જિતેન્દ્રિય હોય— એવા વિદ્વાનને દાન અને માનથી અનુગ્રહ કરીને વાચક તરીકે નિયુક્ત કરવો જોઈએ.
