उज्जिहीध्वे स्तनयत्यभिक्रन्दत्योषधीः । यदा वः पृश्निमातरः पर्जन्यो रेतसावति

IAST Transliteration

új jihīdhve stanáyaty abhikrאַנד́aty oṣadhī́ḥ | yadā́ vaḥ pṛ́śni-mātaraḥ párjanyo rétasā́vati

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

Start forth, O Herbs, when it thunders, when it roars aloud over you—when Parjanya, for you whose mothers are the speckled one, waters with seed.

Translation

હે ઔષધિઓ, જ્યારે ગર્જના થાય, જ્યારે તમારાં ઉપર ઊંચે અવાજે ગુંજાર થાય, ત્યારે તમે ઉદ્ભવો. હે પૃશ્નિ-માતાઓ, જ્યારે પર્જન્ય તમારે માટે રેતસ (બીજ-રસ) વડે સિંચન કરે.
