Sukta 7
अश्वत्थो दर्भो वीरुधां सोमो राजामृतं हविः । व्रीहिर्यवश्च भेषजौ दिवस्पुत्रावमर्त्यौ
aśvatthó darbho vīrúdʰā́ṃ sómo rā́jā́mṛ́taṃ havíḥ | vrīhír yávaś ca bheṣajáu divás-putrā́v amártyau
The Aśvattha, the Darbha, Soma the King of plants—ambrosia as oblation: and Rice with Barley, a pair of remedies, Heaven’s sons, immortal.
અશ્વત્થ, દર્ભ, અને વીરુધાઓમાં સોમ રાજા—અમૃત સમું હવિષ્ય (આહુતિ) છે. અને વ્રીહિ (ચોખા) તથા યવ (જવ) બે ભેષજ, દિવ્યના પુત્રો, અમર છે.
Rishi: Atharvanic tradition (ṛṣi attribution varies by anukramaṇī for AV 8.7).
Devata: Auṣadhayaḥ (Medicinal Plants) with Soma as sovereign healing power.
