लवणं सहिरण्यञ्च विप्रायापूपमर्पयेत् चन्द्रे चाभ्यङ्गदो विप्रे सर्वरोगैः प्रमुच्यते
lavaṇaṃ sahiraṇyañca viprāyāpūpamarpayet candre cābhyaṅgado vipre sarvarogaiḥ pramucyate
લવણને સોનાં સાથે અને અપુપ (મીઠો કેક) બ્રાહ્મણને અર્પણ કરવું જોઈએ. તેમજ ચંદ્રસંબંધે બ્રાહ્મણને અભ્યંગદાન (મર્દન માટે તેલ/લેપ) આપવાથી સર્વ રોગોથી મુક્તિ મળે છે.
