Brahmā (deduced, Vaiṣṇavakhaṇḍa narrative attribution)
Tirtha: Gopratāra
Type: ghat
Scene: A luminous river-ford at Ayodhyā identified as Gopratāra; pilgrims approach the ghāṭ with folded hands while a subtle presence of Hari sanctifies the waters; the atmosphere suggests ‘supreme liberation’ radiating from the crossing-place.
It asserts a hierarchy of sacred places, proclaiming Gopratāra as exceptionally potent for mokṣa within the Purāṇic sacred-geography worldview.
Gopratāra Tīrtha on the Sarayū in Ayodhyā.
No explicit prescription is stated in this verse; it is a declarative praise of the tīrtha’s fruit (mokṣa).
