Type: kshetra
Listener: Mahādevī/Devī
Scene: Three-part tableau: at dawn, noon, and dusk, a pilgrim at the water’s edge offers arghya; the Sun’s disc changes color across panels. A subtle Śiva-liṅga silhouette or crescent-marked aura indicates Śiva’s approval behind the solar radiance.
Regular daily reverence to the Sun cultivates discipline and earns Śiva’s approval.
The passage belongs to Vastrāpatha-kṣetra Māhātmya in the Prabhāsa Khaṇḍa.
Offer arghya to Sūrya at sunrise, midday, and sunset.
