Mṛgī (continuing her statement)
Tirtha: Vastrāpatha Mahākṣetra (Bhavālaya)
Type: kshetra
Listener: royal household/king’s circle (implied)
Scene: A seeker casts off dark impurities like dust shaken from cloth; a clear flame of knowledge rises; the figure stands serene, beyond age and death, beholding Śiva (Bhava) directly—Śiva appearing as luminous presence or liṅga radiance becoming anthropomorphic.
Purification plus disciplined cultivation of knowledge leads toward liberation and direct realization of Śiva.
The teaching is embedded in the Vastrāpathakṣetra māhātmya, centering on Bhava (Śiva) and his abode.
Not a fixed ritual, but a sādhanā: removing impurity, striving for knowledge, and seeking Śiva’s direct vision.
