एवं सा प्रोच्यमानापि न बभाषे कथंचन । मूकवन्न विजानाति न च भुंक्ते सुलोचना
evaṃ sā procyamānāpi na babhāṣe kathaṃcana | mūkavanna vijānāti na ca bhuṃkte sulocanā
Bien qu’on l’interrogeât ainsi, elle ne répondit en rien. Telle une muette, elle semblait ne pas comprendre; et la belle aux yeux charmants ne prit même pas de nourriture.
