Type: sangam
Scene: A river meets the ocean in a radiant confluence; nearby a serene forest hermitage symbolizes mokṣa-araṇya; distant temples mark divya-kṣetras.
Holiness is mapped onto geography—rivers, confluences, forests, and kṣetras—guiding seekers toward purification and liberation.
The verse speaks generally of sacred geographies to prepare for the specific exaltation of Vastrāpatha Kṣetra in Prabhāsa.
No explicit prescription; confluences and sacred forests are implied as places for pilgrimage observances such as snāna, vrata, and worship.
