पातालस्य तले यूयं मानवा धरणीतले । देवास्त्रिभुवने यांतु न वयं स्वर्गगामिनः

pātālasya tale yūyaṃ mānavā dharaṇītale | devāstribhuvane yāṃtu na vayaṃ svargagāminaḥ

« Vous appartenez aux profondeurs de Pātāla ; les humains, à la surface de la terre. Que les dieux parcourent les trois mondes—mais nous ne sommes pas voués à gagner le ciel. »
