ऋषिरुवाच । नास्ति भावकृतो दोषः परिवेद्मि कुरुष्व तत् । वह्निना कथितस्त्वं मे जामाताद्य भविष्यसि

ṛṣiruvāca | nāsti bhāvakṛto doṣaḥ parivedmi kuruṣva tat | vahninā kathitastvaṃ me jāmātādya bhaviṣyasi

Le sage dit : «Il n’est point de faute née d’une intention délibérée ; je le comprends. Fais ce qui convient. Car le Feu, Agni, m’a parlé de toi ; aujourd’hui tu seras mon gendre.»
