राजोवाच । नास्ति भावकृतो दोषः क्षम्यतां तद्वचो मम । विनिर्गतं वचोवक्त्रान्नाहं जाने द्विजोत्तम
rājovāca | nāsti bhāvakṛto doṣaḥ kṣamyatāṃ tadvaco mama | vinirgataṃ vacovaktrānnāhaṃ jāne dvijottama
Le roi dit : «Il n’est point de faute véritablement commise avec intention délibérée — pardonne mes paroles. Une fois les mots sortis de la bouche, je ne les connais ni ne les maîtrise pleinement, ô le meilleur des brāhmaṇas.»
