Type: kshetra
Scene: Śiva speaks with calm authority to Vāmana, granting boons; the scene is intimate yet cosmic, with a subtle suggestion of the three worlds expanding behind them.
Divine grace follows devotion and sincerity; when Śiva is pleased, he grants boons that uplift both worldly standing and spiritual stature.
The broader context is the Vastrāpatha sacred region (Vastrāpatha-kṣetra) described in the Vastrāpathakṣetramāhātmya.
No specific rite is prescribed in this verse; it introduces Śiva’s bestowal of blessings.
