यदर्च्यते भूमितलं तन्मे नित्यं सुरार्चनम् । किं देवैर्दिवि मे कार्यं किं मनुष्यैर्धरातले

Transliteration

yadarcyate bhūmitalaṃ tanme nityaṃ surārcanam | kiṃ devairdivi me kāryaṃ kiṃ manuṣyairdharātale

Translation

Tout ce qui est adoré à la surface de la terre, cela seul est pour moi l’adoration quotidienne des dieux. De quoi ai-je besoin des dieux au ciel, et de quoi ai-je besoin des hommes sur la terre ?
