Sūta (Lomaharṣaṇa) to the sages (deduced)
Tirtha: Vastrāpatha-kṣetra
Type: kshetra
Listener: Nṛpa (king)
Scene: A lone pilgrim, weather-beaten by alternating sun and rain, walks toward a Śiva shrine; above, a radiant solar orb is symbolically ‘pierced’ by a vertical path of light rising from the pilgrim’s heart to the heavens.
Remembrance of Śiva (smaraṇa) turns suffering into liberation-oriented tapas, enabling transcendence beyond worldly limits.
Vastrāpatha-kṣetra, through the exalted fruit promised to the hardship-bearing pilgrim devoted to Śiva.
Maintain unwavering Śiva-smaraṇa while enduring the natural hardships of the journey.
