तस्य तद्वचनं श्रुत्वा जहास वरवर्णिनी । तस्या हसंत्या देवेशि शतशोऽथ सहस्रशः

tasya tadvacanaṃ śrutvā jahāsa varavarṇinī | tasyā hasaṃtyā deveśi śataśo'tha sahasraśaḥ

Entendant ses paroles, la jeune fille d’une beauté exquise éclata de rire. Et tandis qu’elle riait, ô reine des dieux, l’écho s’en répercuta par centaines, oui, par milliers de sonores éclats.
