Type: kshetra
Listener: Implied audience of pilgrims/seekers; verse addresses the general ‘whoever’ (yaḥ).
Scene: A devotee offers sandal paste, flowers, and perfume to the liṅga; nearby, the devotee respectfully gives a gold coin/ornament to a dvija. Above, a luminous ‘paramaṃ padam’ is suggested as a radiant, formless light or a Śiva-abode.
Bhakti joined with reverent worship and charitable giving becomes a complete dharmic path leading to the highest good.
Kalakaleśvara-liṅga in Prabhāsa-kṣetra.
Pūjā with gandha-puṣpa-anulepana and dāna of gold (hema) to dvijātis.
