Transliteration

viśāle tu kṛte devyā locane viṣṇudarśanāt | viśālākṣī tato jātā tatrasthā daityanāśinī

Translation

En voyant Viṣṇu, la Déesse élargit ses yeux ; dès lors on la nomma Viśālākṣī. Demeurant en ce lieu, elle devint la destructrice des Daityas.
